Why We Are Different…

Watermills provides alternative wholesome water supply, emergency water supply and associated water supply consultancy services.

We Supply Wholesome Drinking Water as Standard

Our main aim is to improve, safeguard and lead innovation in the quality and distribution of temporary water supply services. Since established we have been heavily involved in improving standards in the industry. Cross contamination and unsafe installations have fatal consequences which all can be avoided with the right guidance, training and awareness.

To ensure high quality and safe delivery we advise our customers and partners of the British Standard BS8551:2015, which outlines the Provision and Management of Temporary Water Supplies and Distribution. Ensuring pipework is suitable for wholesome water, equipment and fittings are WRAS approved and water technicians are fully trained in sampling and monitoring with EUSR (Energy & Utility Skills Register National Water Hygiene Scheme) certification.

Hydration is key for public health and an efficient workforce, we advise that all welfare units have an uninterrupted supply of wholesome water for drinking, washing and cooking. The term “clean” or “fresh” water is used by others as water that is not suitable for drinking, This water is contaminated and not stored or handled within the provisions of the BS8551:2015 therefore increases the risk of spreading bacteria, breaching duty of care and putting lives at risk.
